Community Involvement

As responsible individuals and business minded people, it is critical to understand that investing in our future - the YOUTH - is important for our growth. The Network Club donates 10% of ALL ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEES to one of these three selected local youth organizations - based on your preference during your registration process. Choose the youth organization you want your donation to benefit and during the NetworKING events, a check will be presented to the organization of your choice. Just click the organization that you want to support or visit their web sites.

The goal of Giving Back is to energize professional organizations, the business communities and high schools to encourage ethnic immigrant youth who are high achievers and motivated but need the encouragement from role models. Through the use of a balanced mentoring program for two years, a high school student operates year round with a mentor to improve his or her academic performance, to set career goals, to learn job skills and to develop high work standards in order to become a productive citizen.

Since 1993, the Glen Mills Schools has been involved in duplicating the school's world-renowned program in the Netherlands. In the short time since its inception, this program has already been praised as an innovative and effective program for the educational and vocational teaching of delinquent youth in a residential setting.

The Nationaal Fonds Kinderhulp gives financial help to children who, mainly because of problems in their family, need professional help. Sometimes these problems are so severe (i.e. abuse, neglect, incest) that is impossible to leave the children with their parents. Most of the time the children go to foster homes or to special homes. Kinderhulp helps to add a bit more color to the lives of these children. We pay things for them like going on a camp in the summer, the contribution ot their sports club, play attributes near their homes, a present from Santa, etc.
